Bobbie Raye Gatheright

Born on May 11, 1930 in Parkers Chapel Arkansas; she was the daughter of Cyrus D and Stella Mae Fuggett Faulkner. She was of the Pentecostal Faith. Bobbie was a LPN with Union Medical Center and retired from Conagra as the El Dorado plant nurse.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 57 years Virgil B. Gatheright, her sister Otis Womack and brothers Harold, and Cyrus Bo Faulkner.

Survivors include her son ; Ronnie (Eloise) Gatheright of Smackover, and daughters Connie (Beryl) Downs of Hemphill, TX, and Tonya (Marvin) Martin of Norphlet, her brothers Buddy Faulkner of Parkers Chapel ,AR, Fred Faulkner of Smackover, AR, Ralph Faulkner of Pine Bluff , AR ,and Jimmy Faulkner of Haynesville ,LA. Sisters Ima Mc Cullough of Shreveport, La, Mary Turner of Fordyce, Peggy Lowery of El Dorado, along with 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 Great great- grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 pm, Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in the chapel of Young’s Funeral Directors with Rev. Steve Pelz and John Hammond officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at 300 N Texas in Norphlet and receive friends at the funeral home Monday, January 13, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
