Billy T. Crow, 82, of El Dorado, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. He was born February 26, 1929, to Thomas Walter Crow and Edna Douglas Crow in Monroe, LA.
Billy was retired as office manager for the City of El Dorado. He was a 30-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps and Reserve. He retired from ABF after 34 years of service and spent 13 years with City of El Dorado. He was president of the Parkers Chapel Water Association, past board member of the Medical Center of South Arkansas, a member of the American Legion, and Parkers Chapel Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Brian Cameron; brother, Bert Crow; and step-mother, Augusta Crow.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Jo Ann Crow; three daughters, Lynn Bryant (David) of Shreveport, LA, Debbie Stinson (Larry) of El Dorado, Judy Fife (Wayne) of Branson, MO; brother, Jerry Crow (Teresa) of El Dorado; six grandchildren, Michael Bryant of Farmerville, LA, Greg Bryant (Megan) of Monroe, LA, Rebecca Matte (B.J.) of Shreveport, LA, Leslie Barbaree (Dwayne), Brad Stinson both of El Dorado, Jeri Lyn Spells (Aulton) of Branson, MO; nine great-grandchildren, Taylor Bryant, Marley Bryant, Gracie Matte, Hannah Barbaree, Jody Barbaree, Connor Stinson, Whiteny Eubanks, Jack Eubanks, Jacob Cameron; two very special friends, Jerry Childs and Curtis Butterfield and three just-like grandchildren Lauren Monteith, Laney Sideroff and Kayela Holland.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2012, at Young’s.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2012, at Young’s Chapel with Rev. Phil Worley and Rev. Bob Inmon officiating. Burial will follow at Old Parkers Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors with full military honors.
