Serving in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict, these times were always on his heart and mind, once a Marine always a Marine.
Andy retired after twenty-five years with Columbia Chemical Company Carbon Black Division, El Dorado Plant as a shipping and warehouse supervisor. He became an avid fisherman always sharing his catch with friends.
Preceding him in death are his parents; and sister, Frances French.
Survivors are, the love of his life for nearly 62 years, Barbara Ann Honish Tarrant of Smackover; four children, Cindy Hobbs of Seminole, TX, Andy, Jr. (Shelley) of Kaufman, TX; Terri Westbrook (David) of McCall Creek, MS, Mary Sharp (Steve) of El Dorado, AR; ten grandchildren; and seventeen great grands.
At age nine Andy said “God Called, I answered”.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2016, at First Baptist Church Smackover with Bro. Carly Davis officiating. A visitation with the family will follow the service.
