Romel Sadik Yako, age 45, of El Cajon, California passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. Romel was born in Iraq.

Romel is survived by his spouse, Reeman Sagmani; his son Antonio Yako; and his daughter Alaina yako; his mother Asyat Sagmani; his sister Sundus Nouna, his sister Sawsan Barno, his brother Faris Yako, his brother Sagmani Yako and his brother Rami Yako.

A funeral service for Romel will be held Friday, April 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Michael Chaldean Catholic Church, 799 East Washington Avenue, El Cajon, CA 92020. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service at 11:45 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego, CA 92102.
