Moroki Marookil, age 64, of El Cajon, California passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022. Moroki was born July 1, 1957 in Baghdad, Baghdad, Iraq.

Moroki is survived by his spouse, Sameerah Odeesh; his son Johni Aziz; his son Joseph Azeez; his daughter Janan Aziz; and his daughter Suzan Aziz; his brother Raad azeez, his brother Khalid Azeez, his sister Hanaah Azeez, his brother Hani Azeez, his brother Waad Azeez and his sister Amera Azeez.

A funeral service for Moroki will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at St, Michael Chaldean Catholic Church, 799 E. Washington Ave, El Cajon, CA 92020. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Dr, San Diego, CA 92102.
