On Thursday, November 17, 2022, Jeffrey D. Youngblood, a beloved husband and father, passed away in El Cajon, California. He was thirty-nine. Born to Beth Mullens and James Youngblood, Jeffrey graduated in June 2000 from West Hills High School in Santee, CA. He worked in construction for a few years, then, became a correctional officer in Arizona. He then moved and worked as a production specialist for an aerospace company in Texas. He moved back to California where he met his wife, Jennifer. In the years before he passed, he was studying to be an accountant.
Jeffrey loved reading and playing online games in his spare time. He also enjoyed taking his son to explore the zoo, and many other places. He loved watching the newest Marvel movie and football with his wife. Jeffrey was a kind and funny person. He made friends wherever he went, and through his online games.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Jennifer Youngblood; his son Jonah Youngblood of El Cajon, California; his father James Youngblood of Ramona, California and his step mother Lauri Youngblood of Ramona, California; his mother Beth Creighton of Tucson, Arizona; his step-father Paul Mullens of Monteagle, Tennessee; his in-laws Juan and Janette Sandoval of Brawley, California; his grandparents Jack and Marie Youngblood of Santee, California; his grandmother Jean Creighton of Tucson, Arizona; his brother James Youngblood (Nicole) of Denton, Texas, his brother Joey Youngblood (Lindsay) of Phoenix, Arizona, his brother Jacob Youngblood of Ramona, California, his step brother Jason Anderson (Shelley) of Yuma, Arizona, his step brother Jarred Zielinski (Elizabeth) of Ramona, California and his step brother Jordon Zielinski of CA; his brother in-law John Sandoval of Brawley, California; and his many nephews and nieces.
Services are on December 28, 2022 at 2:00pm at Carlton Hills Lutheran Church in Santee, Ca. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Jeff’s Go Fund Me or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
