Jack was born on May 26, 1928 in San Diego, CA. to his parents Paul and Ethyl Harvey. Jack is the second generation of the Harvey's born in San Diego, CA.
Jack attended Grossmont High School.
On July 2, 1972 he was united in marriage to Christine McIntosh in Reno, NV
Jack worked throughout his life in the San Diego area working in the machining industry. He owned and operated SoCal Machine Inc., in El Cajon, CA with his son Warren at the time of his death.
Jack's hobbies included his life long dream of building a roadster with his son Warren and to break a 200 M.P.H. record at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Wendover, UUT. He finally achieved his dream in 2004 as he set the record in their class and became a life member of the Bonneville 200mph club. He additionally loved visiting with family and friends, deep sea fishing, and traveling with his wife Christine and friends.
Jack is survived by his wife of 44 years, Christine, his 3 son's Warren and his wife Jody of El Cajon, Wayne of Portola, CA, and Lyle and his wife Anita of Snohomish, WA. 2 step-granddaughters, Kristen and Katie McIntosh of Tulsa, OK. His brother Stuart and wife Elaine of El Cajon, CA, nieces, nephew and a host of other relatives.
Jack was preceeded in death by his parents, Paul & Ethyl Harvey and Step-son, Brette McIntosh.
