Dean Robert Moon

Bob was born in Los Angeles CA and was raised in La Mesa CA. He graduated with the first class of Helix High in 1952, was a Korean War Vet, and retired from the Helix Water District in 1992.

He loved airplanes, had his private pilots license, was a carpenter, tinkerer, inventor, and dreamer.

He was humorous, affectionate and very personable. He loved his family, and his family loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley M Moon; daughter Robin Bradford (David Bradford) of Lakeside, California; son Larry Moon (Rita Moon) of Santee, California; daughter Brenda Graystone of San Diego, California; daughter Robyn Brown (James Brown) of Parker, Colorado; and daughter Traci Long (Donavon Long) of Alpine, California.

Bob is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren (a great grandson on the way) and his brother, Leiland (Bud) Moon, of Grants Pass, OR.

Bob was preceded in death by his father Noral B. Moon; mother Mary E. Moon; brothers Clifford Moon and Norman Moon.

Inurnment will be at Miramar National Cemetery.
