David was the cherished son of Steven Wayne Van Bibber and Robin Rae Van Bibber, who lovingly nurtured and guided him throughout his life. He found his soulmate early in life, meeting Julie, his future wife, in kindergarten. Their love blossomed over the years, culminating in their union on December 18, 1999. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised three wonderful children: daughters Hattie and Katie, and son Soren, who were the light of David's life.
David was a man of many accomplishments. He pursued his education with passion and determination, earning a Master's degree. His professional journey led him to a fulfilling career as an airport operations manager, a role he dedicated himself to for 15 years. His commitment and work ethic were admired by all who had the privilege of working with him.
A man of deep faith, David was a faithful follower of Christ and an active member of Grace Church in Santee. His spiritual journey was marked by his dedication to mentoring and discipling young men, guiding them with wisdom and compassion. His involvement in the church community was a testament to his devotion and love for others.
David's character was defined by his unwavering integrity and intentional actions. He was a good husband, father, and man—devoted, faithful, creative, adventurous, and strong. His love for people was evident in every interaction, and he touched countless lives with his kindness and generosity.
Beyond his professional and spiritual commitments, David had a zest for life that was truly inspiring. He loved camping and cherished the time spent on vacations with his family. His adventurous spirit led him to explore the world, visiting Germany, France, Mexico, Canada, Boston, Washington DC, and various national parks. These experiences enriched his life and created lasting memories with those he loved.
