Darlene Marilyn Davis was born in San Diego California on November 5, 1938, to Johnnie Lee Davis. She was later adopted by Johnnie D. Byrd when he and Johnnie Lee married. Darlene worked at Pride Electronics, General Dynamics, and Loreal Conic, before retiring in 1994.
