Dale Edward Rose, 76, of El Cajon, California passed away peacefully at his home, on July 2, 2024. Dale was born on November 13, 1947, in Dallas, TX to Donald Carl Rose and Jessie Marion Rose. He graduated from Pt. Loma High School in San Diego. After high school, he served as a Private in the United States Army. After leaving the Army, Dale went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Biology at San Diego State University and after graduating, became a Chemist at Kelco in San Diego. Dale then met and married his beautiful wife Nola in 1975 while attending church at Meridian Baptist Church in El Cajon. They were married on February 14, 1976, and were happily married for 48 years. He then attended National University in San Diego where he received a Masters in Business Administration. Dale went on to obtain his real estate license and spent several years in Real Estate. Aside from being a realtor, he and his wife also owned and operated a mortgage brokerage. Dale had a passion for serving the Lord. He furthered his education by attending seminary school and graduated from California Graduate School of Theology and became an ordained minister. He served as an interim pastor for many churches over the years, taught local Bible studies, Associate pastor at Bancroft Baptist Church in Spring Valley, and served as head pastor at First Baptist Church of Allied Gardens in San Diego. He built long lasting friendships with members of his congregations along the way, and he was always eager to share his knowledge and love for God with others. Being the professional student he was, in 1996, Dale received a law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego and passed the California Bar Exam. He practiced family law, then spent the rest of his career as an estate planning attorney, which he did passionately up until the week preceding his death. Throughout his life, he was known for his hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others. Dale was loved in his community and built many life-long friendships. More than anything, he was a devoted husband and father. He loved spending time with his wife and children. Whether it was playing games, sharing stories, camping, or fishing, spending time with family was the highlight of his life. In his free time, Dale and his wife Nola loved to travel. Going on cruises was their favorite. They enjoyed extended camping trips around the US in their RV, and traveling and playing cards with their closest friends. He was able to enjoy one last cruise to the Caribbean in June, just before he passed. Dale is survived by his forever loving wife Nola, his two sons Justin and Derek, and his granddaughters, Ashtyn, Courtney, Carlee, Jazelyn, and Emma. Dale is preceded in death by his parents Donald and Jessie Rose, and his beautiful daughter Corinne Michelle Rose. He is now reunited with them in Heaven. Dale was an extremely loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed and his memory will be cherished by all who knew him. A private funeral service will be held for immediate family at Miramar National Cemetery.
