Claudia was born in Melrose, Mass, and educated in Saugus, Mass, Schools. When she completed school she went to work as a Secretary for John Hancock Life Insurance Company in Boston, Mass until she met and married Richard M. Cersosimo, a career Navy sailor who retired as a Chief Petty Officer in 1977 then lived in Bristol, Rhode Island with her family until they moved back to CA in 1980 where she resided in Lemon Grove, CA & El Cajon, CA until her death. Claudia enjoyed moving all around the country for 20 years with her family until her husband retired in 1977 and settling down in El Cajon, CA. She was a dedicated homemaker in El Cajon until her passing. She and her husband were married in 1963 and enjoyed marriage until her passing for 61 + years.
She is survived by her husband, Richard M. Cersosimo Sr. her daughters Natalie Smith & Patricia Xavier (John) of El Cajon, & son Richard M. Cersosimo Jr. (Katie) of Lakeside, & Granddaughters, Michele Xavier, Victoria Bongiovanni & Brittany Xavier, all of Lakeside CA, Isabella Cersosimo of El Cajon, CA, & Grandsons, Anthony Laycock-Smith (Rebecca) of Cedar Park TX & Vincent Cersosimo of Lakeside, CA, and Great Grandson, Roanin Bongiovanni and Great Granddaughter Reese Bongiovanni of Alpine, CA, and her Sister Patricia Deschene (Dennis) of Bow, NH.
