Carol Catherine (Robuck) Roberts passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 in El Cajon, California. She was born on October 9, 1940 in Highland Park (Detroit) Michigan. Her parents were Ralph Waldo and Gwendolyn (Guay) Robuck. She attended various schools in Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio and graduated from North High School in 1958. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work at Ohio State University in 1962, and later that year she moved to San Diego, California and worked at General Dynamics where she met her husband, Kent Roberts. They were married in 1963 and moved to El Cajon, California where they raised their three boys, Don (Beverly), Dan (Gilda) and John (Emily). Carol was a Deputy Probation Officer for the San Diego County Probation Department for 30 years. She worked in San Diego and El Cajon. After retirement, she and Kent enjoyed traveling the country in their RV and travel abroad. She enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking and was devoted to her large family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Gwendolyn Robuck, her sister Gail Anne and her husband Kent. She is survived by a brother, Robert Robuck of Columbus, Ohio and grandchildren, Melissa, Jessica, Cameron Lee, Jacob, Victoria, Jorden, Vanessa and Lily. A viewing will be held at El Cajon Mortuary on October 17. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint Luke Catholic Church on October 18th, 2022. Burial will be next to her husband at Miramar National Cemetery.
