Zane Zabelski

April 30, 1931 – December 25, 2011

It is with great sadness that the family of Zane Zabelski announces his passing on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at the age of 80 years.

Zane will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years Pat, his children, Rick, Sandy (Leo), Ted (Lilly) and Bob; his four grandchildren, Nick, Chris, Shannon and Megan; his sister Carrie Gibson, his sister in law Dorothy Zabielski and by all his nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents, Nickolas and Katherine, his brother Tony and his sisters, Jean, Marie and Adele.

The family extends their grateful thanks to Dr. James Bell and the kind and caring nurses, staff and the Grey Nuns at the Youville Home.

A Prayer Service will be held at Memories Funeral Home, 13403-St. Albert Trail, on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will take place at Memories Funeral Home, on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Memorial donations in memory of Zane may be made to the Youville Home, 9-St. Vital Avenue, St. Albert, AB; T8N-1K1.
