Wayne is remembered by his sister Loree (Kim), niece Tamee (Rob), Sheril (Justin) and
Brittany. Great niece Ivy, great nephews Trey, Jaydyn and Kylian, and other family & friends.
Wayne is predeceased by his parents Daisy and Gerald, and his sister Sharon.
Born in Edmonton AB, Wayne graduated college and started his journey to his career in Sales &
Contracts with the airlines and transportation industry, starting with CP Air and ending with
Canadian Airlines. His career choice took him on many adventures to different parts of the
world and it was during this time that he found the love of his life…golf. He always encouraged
friends and family to get out and play the best game ever invented.
In his younger adult years, he was a thrill seeker and participated in baseball, diving, water
skiing and attempted parasailing. As a bachelor, he learned to cook numerous 1-pot dinners,
while always having the ultimate appreciation of a luxury restaurant with fine wine.
Wayne made his home in Richmond BC, enjoyed living in Kelowna BC and eventually came
back to the frigid winters of Edmonton to retire.
If only he didn’t wear his golf gloves in December…
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want not rites in a gloom filled room
Why cry for a soul set free
For this is the journey we all must take
And each must go alone
It’s all part of the Master’s plan
A step in the road Home
