Stella Chawrun Huculak

April 13, 1921 ~ September 29, 2012

It is with deep sadness we mourn the loss of our loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who passed away on Saturday September 29, 2012 at Youville Home in St. Albert.

Stella was born April 13, 1921 in the Ukraine. She came to Canada at a very young age, settled in Manitoba later moving to Saskatchewan where she married Steve Huculak.

She is survived by her two daughters, Olga McGreevey(Elliott) of Edmonton and Dianne IsRalson(Gary) of St. Albert and four grandchildren, Robert Turetski, Laura Turetski, Carmen Esch(David), Denise IsRalson and one great grandchild, Connor Esch. She is also survived by her step brother Mike(Evelyn) and step sister Mary.

Stella was predeceased by her husband Steve, parents John and Ann, brother Bill, step mother Ann and step brother Nick.

Stella will be missed by numerous other relatives and friends.

A Prayer Service to honour Stella’s life will be held at Memories Funeral Home 13403 St. Albert Trail, Edmonton, AB on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 8:00 PM. Divine Liturgy will be held at St. Basil’s Ukrainian Catholic Parish, 7007-109 Street on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 11:00AM. Cremation entrusted to Memories Funeral Home.
