Shocked & saddened to hear of Sherrie's passing. I have many fond memories working with Sherrie at The WCB Rehab Centre In the 70s. My thoughts are with all of you.

I was truly shocked and saddened to hear of Sherrie's passing and my heart goes out to Helmut and her family. It was life cut way too short. Sherrie was my supervisor for many years and I always found her to be encouraging, fair and personable. She was always interested in our lives and made every occasion (St. Patick's, Valentines, birthdays, Christmas, etc.) special by either baking goodies or leaving little mementoes with each of her staff. I still have my Easter duck, my Halloween ghost and ornaments from Christmas and will cherish them even more so because they remind me of what a thoughtful, caring and selfless human being she was. Rest in Peace friend.

Sherrie's home made cards, her baking, and all of the ways that she brought joy to people will be dearly missed.  She was a very special person and a dear friend.  Helmut, Robin and family, I know you have many wonderful memories that I hope will be with you during these difficult days, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Lynne and Otto Mack

To Helmut and family we are so sorry for your loss. Sherrie was a pleasure to work with and a longtime friend. She always stood out from the rest of us with her outgoing personality, so happy, so motivating - in good times and in bad. With her big heart she was always there to support whoever needed it. We all knew where to find treats in her office and on special occasions such as birthdays, Easter & Christmas there would be even more goodies she would share with all, especially our coffee group. I am going to miss those mincemeat squares at Christmas for sure. Those of us who got to know Sherrie were very lucky for having crossed paths.  Right now sorrow fills so many hearts, she will be greatly missed. Thank-you for the beautiful memories that you made with us, until we meet again rest in peace my friend.

Please accept my sincerest condolences on your loss.  Sherrie was a kind, gracious, caring and genuine individual.  She was not only well loved but also most respected.  Rest in peace dear lady.

Sherrie was one of the first people I met at the WCB and through all our years working together she was kind and supportive.  She was hard working and determined but also had a wonderful sense of humour.  I will never forget the April 1 whistles for bathroom breaks.  Her kindness and generosity will never be forgotten.  (Neither will her wonderful baking).  She will live on in our memories and the perennials she shared with so many of us.  Condolences to Helmut and to Sherries family.

My most sincere condolences on the loss of your dear wife, daughter and sister, Sherrie.  I was deeply saddened to hear of Sherrie's illness and moreso by her death. I worked with Sherrie at WCB for many, many years. Sometimes life is so unfair, Sherrie enjoyed such a short retirement, it should have lasted far, far longer. I am so sorry for your loss.

My condolences to Sherrie's family.  I had the pleasure of working with Sherrie for many years at the WCB. She was respected by everyone who knew her.  A kind hearted woman, taken too soon.

I remember Sherrie for her incredible kindness and generosity. She was always willing to help and shared her wonderful baking talents with our little coffee group throughout the year and especially at Christmas when we all received her delicious fruit cakes. 

I also fondly think of those years when Sherrie and I went running together at noon hours and shared stories of our lives. Her commitment to health and fitness put me to shame. 

Sherrie was one of those genuinely caring people you rarely meet and she was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.

there is so much to say about Sherrie, her kindness to all, her work ethic, and her talents at sewing, baking and card making.  

Sherrie knew how much I loved my flower beds and when I was recovering from surgery, she offered to come and weed the beds for me.  That offer was made in spite of her having her own garden.  I also knew she was helping other people out with their gardens. 

She would give me a piece of a favorite plant for my garden and some fresh veggies at the end of the summer and would not take anything in return.  

She also knew my husband loved sweets and only homemade goodies - Sherrie baked his favorites and they were always a big hit in our house. 

I will truly miss her laughter and kindness.
