Sean Peter Reilly

Left behind to cherish his memory are his devoted, beloved mother, Helen Chou Pruta (Alfredo Pruta); his loving father, Michael Vincent Reilly (Emily Reilly); his dear aunt and uncle, Ming and Albert Hoh; cousins, Ramona Hoh (Bryan), Jennifer Hoh (Stu) and Steven Hoh. As well, he leaves aunt and uncle, Aileen and Patrick Reilly; cousins, Jason Reilly ( Dragana ), Thomas Reilly ( Bailey), and Nicholas Reilly; aunt and uncle, Deborah and Ken Bryan; cousins, Richard Bryan and Catherine Rivait (Eric); and Auntie Diane Reilly from Toronto. Sean leaves his aunt and uncle, Mert and Marv Peterson, from Saskatchewan; and his cousins, Brad, Dorri, and Doug Peterson. As well, Sean leaves his girlfriend and confidant, Amanda Bishop to cherish his memory.

Sean was predeceased by his grandparents, Dr. Chun Lin and Viola Chou, and Leonard and Louise Reilly.

Sean was employed as an apprentice electrician at J & J Electric and had been contracted to Action Electrical Ltd. He was faithful to the duties of his employment and grateful for the opportunity to become proficient and learn many skills under the mentorship of Mr Rigoberto Batres. Sean was looking forward to continuing his apprenticeship studies at NAIT in March.

Sean was evolving into a fine young man with many varied interests. He had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed exploring the outdoors, especially hiking in Jasper and Banff with Amanda and skiing with his family and friends. Sean was an excellent cook adopting skills learned from his mother and step-father Alfredo. Sean had an appreciation of good food and great restaurants. Sean was highly intelligent, inquisitive and mechanically inclined. He enjoyed installing new improvements, electrical upgrades and appliances into his parents and relatives homes and watching their delighted reaction to his work. Sean has left us far too soon and we are heartbroken at the loss of a wonderful young man who gave us so much love and was so loved.

A Funeral Service will take place at Hainstock’s Funeral Home (9810 34 Avenue, Edmonton) on Monday, March 13, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. There will be a viewing at 12:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at South Haven Cemetery in South Edmonton. A luncheon will be served at Hainstock’s after the service.
