It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Roman Belter, at the age of 82. He retired after skillfully working in his trade for over 40 years, had a gift of storytelling, and loved returning to Germany to visit family for many summers with his wife, Ursula and granddaughter, Catelynn.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Ursula; his son, Ronald (Bernadette); his daughter, Deidra; his stepdaughters, Carola, Daniela; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Olga (Otto) Weiss of Ontario, Rosie (Ewald) Karl of Ontario; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Roman was predeceased by his parents, Roman and Amanda Belter; brothers, Waldemar, Karl, and Bruno Belter; and sisters, Natalie Wulf, Hulda Jachmann, and Linda Dahlmann.
