Robert (Bob) Donald Anderson, age 84, of Edmonton, Alberta passed away peacefully on June 25, 2020. He was predeceased by his sons Bradley and Calvin of Edmonton, AB. He is also survived by his brother Gary (Suzanne) of Edmonton, AB. Bob was born in Wainwright, AB on September 21, 1935. As a young man, he settled in Edmonton where he worked for CPR Telegraph before embarking upon a career with Air Canada; it was there he met the love of his life Betty. Bob retired as a sales supervisor at the airport after 29 years and continued working under contract downtown for a few additional years. He was a dedicated employee that thoroughly enjoyed his work and the relationships he built over the years; this continued into retirement as a Pionair. With a career in the airline industry he developed a love for travel and cruising with Betty. His other passions included golf, bowling, gardening and Tim Horton’s coffee and donuts. Nothing however, compared to the love he had for his family and the joy and laughter he brought to their lives. Everyone loved Bob and his kind, gentle spirit. He was an outstanding husband, father, grandfather and friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
