Richard (Dick) Joseph Kulak, formerly of Stony Plain, peacefully passed away on the afternoon of July 14, 2021, surrounded by his family, laughing and full of love. Dick fought a valiant battle with cancer and passed with honour and grace.
Dick was a highly respected businessman, well known throughout the country in the restaurant & meat industry, retiring as the General Manager of Centennial Foodservice. He was an avid golfer, a longtime member at the Belvedere Golf & Country Club and in recent years with the Edmonton NASA Golf Tour. He put all of his younger golf mates and family members to shame with his game, always scoring his age or lower.
Dick is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Anice Blewett Kulak. He asked her to marry him the first day he laid eyes on her and their love shone bright for all of their years together. They are a real life example of what true love means.
Dick was a dedicated father and grandfather, always there to lend an ear and share his wisdom with encouragement and support. His humour, spirit and generosity will live on through each of them.
In lieu of flowers and a funeral, the family asks that donations are made to the Cross Cancer Institute.
