It is with a heavy heart that we announce that the long good-bye is finally over. After a lengthy battle with diabetes and kidney disease, Richard Leslie Banyard passed peacefully at 66 years of age. Richard was predeceased by his father Leslie, brother Timothy, and nephew Colin Skawronski. Richard leaves behind his wife of 47 years, Esther; daughter Pamela (Joshua) Cooper and their daughters Hannah and Erin; son Paul (Emma) and their sons Paul Junior and Luke; daughter Heather; and son Blaine (Kristina) and their children Karissa and Riley. Richard also leaves his mother Beulah; sister Wendy Skawronski and family; nephew Jeffory Moes and family; sister-in-law Doris Smith and family; and brother-in-law Lorne Polzin and family; as well as numerous extended family members. A funeral talk will be given at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 6212 82 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB on March 22, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
