Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of Raymond. He was a Gentleman. When I was started in Real Estate almost 4 decades ago Raymond and his daughter Pam visited my office to discuss purchasing a home. I was nervous but he put me at ease with his kind demeanor. We chatted about St. Paul at length. My Father and Raymond were friends at the Legion as they both served in the Military. My Dad spoke of him with great respect.

I knew, and esteemed Ray, during his years as Minister of Labour. He was a good listener and a gentleman in every way. Later on I became Minister of Labour in the PC government, a responsibility which increased my respect and esteem for Ray.

Joyce Reierson & Family!

It is with great sadness that we share in your loss of Ray. We have been very blessed to know  the Ray & Joyce Reierson family since 1971 when we were welcomed to the East Crestwood neighborhood in Edmonton by Joyce and Ray as their next door neighbors. We fondly recall the "over the fence" chats, and especially enjoyed sharing in Ray's love of his prized white Mercedes-Benz  190 SL sports car. Ray's contribution to our community is outstanding, and we are eternally grateful for his kindness and caring he shared with all who knew him, and those who did not know him personally but benefited from his knowledge and wisdom. He will be missed but will always share a special part in our hearts.

Dear Joyce,
I was saddened to hear from Deanna of Ray's passing.  Thinking of Ray brings back memories of Mom and Dad, Aunt Rosemary and Uncle Ralph and days spent in St. Paul and Ashmont.  The last time I saw Ray was at the November 11th Remembrance Day Service the year that Marion passed away.  Frances, Lorraine and I send our heartfelt condolences and pray that God's grace and comfort be with you and your family.
