    We still live in the same house we purchased in the Capilano area.  Our first neighbour was Peter Morris and his lovely wife Janette.  We will always remember Peter as a wonderful spirit that truly and sincerely welcomed my wife and I to the neighbourhood.  Our three little daughters, at that time, thought he was a terrific friend and a protector
of our family and so did we.  Our time as neighbours was too short but we never forgot how sincere, earnest, and
truly helpful he was to our little brood.  We have never forgotten you Peter and we sincerely hope that all of the
wonderful memories will ease the pain
for your family at this difficult time

It was sad to hear of recent challenges associated with his health.

 I first met Peter while having lunch in the "K" Division mess about 18 years ago.  We crossed paths many times since then and I always enjoyed our chats.  He served his country and community with distinction and pride.  May he rest in peace.

I met Peter through my mother who traveled with him in his later years. He had a huge zest for life, living it to the fullest, a wry humour which always seemed to fit the situation, and a distinctive "Dennis the Menace" charm which always brought out the best of his personality. I truly enjoyed meeting him several times and am very sad to hear of his passing. Condolences from my mom Rachel, myself and my wife Pat.

Thinking of you at this time. May you find comfort in the special memories that you have of your Father. So sorry for your loss.

While I didn't know Peter; I was very good fiends;  and worked with his brother Jim in "D" Div., Manitoba.

Peter was a great Canadian who fought for his country and a man who honored and respected his family. He also worked very hard as both an RCMP officer and in Social Services to help others who many times could not help themselves. He guided many as a true leader and someone who always went "beyond the call of duty". I will always respect him as a mentor and someone who we could always trust and go to for anything we needed as a worker, friend or even as a stranger.

It is with deep regret I write this message because it means our world is now missing a fine man and loyal Canadian. As a co-worker and friend since the 1960's I wish Peter a fond adieu and eternal peace. He was a champion of the people.
