Maxine is survived by her loving and caring husband of 58 years, Ron; and their three children, Sandy (Michel), Kerri (John) and Kevin. Along with her children, Maxine leaves to mourn her loss her 5 grandchildren, Amanda, Justin, Travis, Riley and Taylor and one great-granddaughter, Cara. Maxine is also survived by her sister, Betty (Vern) and her two brothers, Melvin (Sharon) and Rodney (Eleanor) and her brother-in-law Jim. Maxine was predeceased by her sister Joyce; niece Terri-Lynne and sister-in-law Donna as well as her parents, Martin and Thelma Movold. Maxine also leaves to grieve her loss many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Maxine was born in Camrose, AB and was raised in Hay Lakes, AB. She settled in Edmonton in 1965 where she raised her three children. Maxine worked in the administrative field and spent a number of years working in the office at Woodward's at Southgate Mall. Maxine had a strong passion for sports, especially curling. She had an even greater passion for animals. She also loved all the time she spent at Buck Lake with her family and friends. Maxine lived life to the fullest even through the hard times. She never wanted to miss a thing. She loved her family unconditionally and would do anything for them. She raised a family that will stay strong and take care of each other.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude for the kindness and compassion received from the doctors and nursing staff at Unit 54 of the Grey Nun's Hospital. Dr. "Rob" you will never be forgotten. Thank you to the hospital Chaplains for providing such strong support.

In keeping with Maxine's wishes, a private family service is being held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Maxine's memory to the Edmonton Humane Society.
