Arrangements under It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the age of 94 with her family by her side. Mary is survived by her son Leonard; grandaughters Sharon (John), Rose and Kimberley; daughter-in-law Patricia (Morris); great-grandchildren John and Margaret; brothers John (Mary), Peter (Jenny); numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was pre-deceased by her first husband Steve Dacyk, her second husband William Kozicki; her sons Eugene and Morris; her parents John and Maria Kossey; brothers Tom, Steve, and sister Minnie.
Family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff in Units 53 and 43 of the Grey Nuns Hospital; Mary’s niece Edith Kossey and family friend Bernadette Vlodarchyk.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday February 21, 2014 at Hainstock’s Funeral Home 9810 34 Avenue, Edmonton AB.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta.
