In grandmas arms once caught
It was found in joy at the lake

Where wee ones gathered
At a holiday feast
Or during a visit, just tagged along
With empty hearts
They wandered home
At the passing of an era
That held them close
With such a bond
I saw that she'll be near
Near and close within their thoughts

With stories to tell their children of
