Mary Ann and Dennis. Sorry to see the passing of your Mom Dennis. I'm sure you have fond memories of her. Mary Ann and Gary Fathers.

Your Mom was always so cheerful when she walked by.And one of the prettiest ladies in the neighbourhood !

To each dear one in Mary's family we express our deepest sympathy to you - I loved hearing about you, each one. Mary loved you so. Mary was a beloved friend and sister in the Lord Jesus Christ. We shared many a talk and walk and cup of tea. She blessed my life so richly and comforted me in the loss of my dear Mom. I have missed her so since she moved to Edmonton. Dear Dennis, Lynne & Families
My sincere sympathy for your loss. I have so many great memories of your mother and I over the last 65+ years. We did our lunches once a week, one week would be at Mary's house and the next week,lunch would be at mine. Then some days off we would go for lunch or desert (the best banana splits) at the Bel Air restaurant at the corner of Moy & Tecumseh Rd. Mary & I went into the Bel Air one day for a banada split and the prices went up and we didn't know.  We dug and dug for a few cents more to pay the increase, Mary and I thought we were going to have to wash the dishes but we found the few cents we needed. Some days we would hit Peerless Ice Cream for a ice cream cone or a sundae. We often visited the Chatterbox Restaurant on Tecumseh Road close to Parent Ave for a chocalate bar or ice cream which ever one we could afford. But every Friday afternoon we would go grocery shopping at Packers Supermarket at the corner of Moy and Tecumseh Rd.  We would get our groceries and have them delivered for ten cents because we would stop to take a break at the Forest House at the corner of Forest and Tecumseh Road.  We would always get our two draft beers and a pickled egg for twenty-five cents. The owner of the Forest House, Pat Clark, got to know us.  We would head home down Forest Avenue always walking and talking, we always had so much to talk about. Friday nights, the six of us (Bill & Mary, Basil & Evelyn Curley and Ken & myself Charlotte Anderson would head out for dinner.  One couple would chose the restaurant every week that we would eat at, most times we headed out in the county for fish. We sure had some great times and so many memories over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

It is always a difficult time when we lose a loved one. But we have to remember all the good times we had with them. I can always remember how she treated us just like our own mother with love. I can remember her smile when we did something silly while playing in the yard. Our families prayers and thoughts are with you.

My sincere sympathy in the loss of your Mom, Jack and I had many good times together when we were neighbours.                 Marge Willett.

It brings great sadness to  lose another one of my childhood roll models.  Mary always treated me like I was special.  I have always thought of her as a Great Lady.

As children we grew up across the street from you on Forest Ave. in Windsor ON.  Our last name was Charlebois and our mother was known as Aunt Dorothy.  We four girls were Denise, Paulette (Polly), Louise and Yvette.

On behalf of my sisters and I we send you our deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother.  There are not many left of the Forest Avenue mothers and I think fondly of many of them, Mrs. Chadwick, Mrs. Bially and Mrs. Hillis and our Mom to name a few.  We were so lucky to have these wonderful women as part of our lives.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.....
