Leslie May Amundson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Leslie May Amundson, who passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025 at the age of 68 years old in Edmonton, Alberta. Leslie was born March 31, 1956 in Fort St. John, B.C. and leaves to mourn her passing; daughter Julie Amundson (Denny) Grandchildren; Christopher, Jennifer (Mike), Harmony, Darius; Brother David (Jan), sister Heather (Bob), sister Janice (Roy) nephews and nieces; Greg (Christina), Phillip, James (Jennifer), Genise (Barry), Candace (Derek), Judy, Meagan, as well as great nieces and nephews. Leslie will be missed by all of the clients she helped guide through their healing process. Leslie was patient, kind, very resourceful and always an advocate. Leslie was adventurous, she loved to learn, to teach, to travel and had a love of music. She was well educated with 2 Bachelor Degrees and was a member of the Edmonton Philharmonic Orchestra. She is predeceased by her Mother Enid Amundson (Twidale), Father: Lloyd Amundson Uncle: Percival Twidale, Uncle: Jim Twidale, Aunt: Rosemary Twidale and Brother In Law: Bob Irving.

A Memorial Reception to honour Leslie’s life will be held at Memories Funeral Home, 13403 St. Albert Trail Edmonton, AB on Monday, March 31, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Cremation entrusted to Memories Funeral Home.
