Thanks so much for gracing us with your wisdom and sense of humor Laurie - and most especially for the Allan Carr book.  You will always be remembered!

I had the pleasure of interacting with Laurie through work, and also in a running club. She was a great person to be around. I am truly shocked and saddened by this news. My condolences to the family. May her memory be eternal.

Rest in peace Laurie!  Be surrounded by all the comfort your goodness has earned when walking your earthly path.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Laurie. We met in health and got along. She was always an amazing artist to me. She had a kind heart and kept the 4 ladies in connect even after I left Health. I remember she visited me when she had meetings over to my building. And those are cherish moments for me. Rest peacefully.

I will always remember Laurie's infectious smile.  My condolenses.

Laurie is an amazing kind soul who brought some much joy to the office and outside of work. Mike and family we are thinking of you during this very sad time. Laurie was one of those people who you just want to be around.  She had a playful sense of humor and lots of curiosity about the world around her.  She was our social convener, often being the one who made coffee or lunch happen with friends and co-workers.  Her creative energy was a joy to experience - for me the Halloween decorating was a highlight and always eagerly anticipated.  I had the pleasure of working closely with Laurie for a few years.  She was a talented systems analyst and made substantial contributions to information planning, data management and data architecture at Alberta Health.  A beautiful person I shall miss dearly.  To Mike, and to Laurie's family, Glen and I extend our heartfelt condolences.

I am very saddened to have heard of this terribly premature and unfair loss. I have had the pleasure of working with Laurie.  She has been a wonderful person.  My sincerest and deepest condolences to the family.

I first met Laurie years ago when she joined Health, and then we happily reconnected in her next role. I've know Laurie for a few years and she was always happy, friendly and laughing. I worked closely with Laurie for over a year, her integrity and dedication to her work was unsurpassed.  On a personal note she was a truly caring and special lady who shall be missed, my condolences to her family and friends, may the memories you have be a comfort to you.

Laurie, I want to write to you as if you were still here with us, and just awaiting our next coffee date.  I was truly taken back by the news of our devastating loss of you, and cannot find the words to express how much I will miss our office chats, organizing golf tournaments together, "shooting the breeze", and many more. Oh Laurie - you will be so missed! We met through work but I always consider you as such a caring friend; always there to listen and not judge. The loss of Laurie is huge because this world will not be the same without her. My condolences to all she has left behind.

I just learned this shocking news - I didn't even realize Laurie was sick.  I worked with her previously and she was always a pleasure to work with.  I went to a couple of her elaborate Halloween parties - she went all out. She will be missed by many.  My sympathies to the family.

I am so deeply saddened by the tragic loss of such as warm, positive, caring individual so young in her life.  I not only considered Laurie my employee but my friend.  She had so much to offer everyone that she met and to the world.  She made a difference to the lives of Albertans through her work in the government and she made a huge difference to everyone she met.  The world will miss her contribution to life.

I was saddened to hear of your loss.  I will remember Laurie as an always-cheerful colleague, and a friendly voice on the other end of the phone.
