Lamberto Purihin

Eteng was born on April 16, 1943 in Cavite, Philippines as the youngest of 7 children, to the late Alejo & Appollonia Purihin.

He came to Canada in 1980 and married his late wife and soulmate, Emelita (Emmy) Purihin on May 17, 1980. Eteng leaves to cherish his loving memory his daughter, Emberly, his son, Embert, and a host of nieces & nephews, family, and many, many friends.

He was a man of little words but many dance moves and many more laughs. Eteng loved to make everyone laugh.

He liked to work with his hands which led him to stay at Alta Fab for 25+ years until his retirement. Eteng and his wife were a living example of the Bible verse, Colossians 3:12 — “Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience”

Please join us in prayer and celebrating his life on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 between 5:00pm – 9:00 pm at Hainstock’s Funeral Home, 9810 34 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB.
