Katherine Harper

It is with great sadness that the family announce Katherine’s passing on February 8, 2024 at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by our father William, her parents Peter and Helen, and all her siblings. She will be forever missed by her children Patricia (Mal), Gail, Karen (Gord), Richard, Randy and Robert, and numerous Grandchildren, Great grandchildren, in laws, nieces and nephews. She was born in Bellis, Alberta and raised in Vilna then moved to Edmonton when she finished high school where she met our father, and they married in 1956. They were the first couple to be married in the Catholic Church in Griesbach Barracks where our father was stationed. She had a happy, adventurous life with our father travelling across Canada, the USA and Europe. She loved entertaining and was well known for her spreads where she would feed a lot of people at many extended family gatherings. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
