Karen was my first boss, and I learned more from her about work ethic and professionalism, than I ever could have in one of my university courses. I'm forever grateful to have spent time with such a great lady.  I am so sorry for your family's loss, she was a gem.

It has been said that while death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. Karen's memory will live on in all of us. Such a great lady. She will be missed by all that met her.

Karen had a contagious happiness that made her a joy to be around. Her huge smile would light up your day. I had the pleasure of volunteering with Karen at SCARS events and also at Alberta Spay Neuter Task Force Clinics. Always a very hard worker, with an ever positive outlook, Karen will be sadly missed.

We are so sorry for your loss.  Teresa and I remember her smiling face each Wednesday as her and Remmie Lou would come in to the Grey Nuns Hospital to visit the patients.  She was a wonderful lady and we will miss her.

My condolences to Karen's family with their great loss.  I knew Karen from volunteering for ACTSS.  She was a great board member and a pleasure to work with.  Her kind spirit and contributions will be missed.

I went to Ellerslie with Karen and was on the school bus every day with her.  I am so sorry to hear of her passing.  I can remember her fantastic smile and laugh.

I am so very sorry, Karen will be greatly missed but not forgotten. I will always remember the first time I met her volunteering for ACTSS she was so kind with a bright heart and so full of love for animals. Truly a blessing to have met her . Karen & I worked together at Kiawana(sp) dog kennels, in Ellerslie ,back in the day. It was our first job. We had so much fun together , I remember her laughing and always happy. She was an amazing person. 
I will always remember how uplifting she made me feel and her love for animals.
