With great sadness we announce the death of Greg Siver, a beloved husband, father, son and brother. Greg was born in Brandon and grew up in Penticton and Victoria, moving to Calgary with his wife Nellie in 1991. He joined Edmonton EMS in 1996 attaining his Paramedic qualifications in 1999. Greg is survived by his beloved wife Nellie of 25 years, his two sons, Alexander George (16) and Tyler Jose (13), his grandmother Bobbie McConnell of Victoria, his mother, Sandra McConnell of Victoria, brother Christopher (Cheri) of Victoria, father in-law Jose de Paiva, sister-in-law Cinda Tavares (John), brothers-in-law Stephen and Robin de Paiva all of Victoria. He was predeceased by his father Leonard Melvin Siver (1998) and Grandfather Wilbert George McConnell (1994).
A celebration of Greg’s life will be held at Memories Funeral Chapel 13403 St. Albert Trail, Edmonton on Friday December 9th, 2011 at 2:00 PM.
