Greg was truly a hero to so many. He was my hero! The world is a much better place to have had him to teach us all. Any student that had the honour of having Greg teach them is a better person, and a better practioner because of his time, passion and heart! We are so very sorry for your loss and hope you can find comfort and joy in coming months.

We are so very sorry for your loss, there will never be anyone quite like Greg. I have so many fond memories from Greg as a preceptor, Greg as a partner to the "bickersons" team during ACLS competitions and as a friend. My favorite memory is walking into a nursing home and Greg walking up to the tv and turning it to golf, then turning to the old ladies and saying 'you weren't watching that were you'! He loved golf, educating patients on his soap box, teaching students and most importantly he loved his family. He was always a positive, happy person who fought a long, hard battle. I will always think of Greg anytime Golf or the CBC Is on in a EMS Station.He had many passions.His family and his job were just two of them.

Nellie, Alex and Tyler, We are saddened to hear about your loss..  I have so many fond memories of Greg.  He used to love bringing out his soap box when talking to patients..  very fascinating to listen to some times.  I also remember one ACLS competition in Oshawa, we had gone through the drive through at Tim Hortons, that was a huge mistake.  They made Greg's tea all wrong.  They put the milk in when the tea hadn't steeped yet, well we drove around the building back into the drive through.  He educated them on how to make a cup of tea.  It was hilarious, his soap box again.  I have many memories that make me smile each time I think about them.  He will be missed by all, may he rest in peace now.  With love Sue, Tom and Neila

Condolences to the family, friends, and co-workers of Greg.  Our family met Greg at Nomination Day, City Hall, and had the pleasure of chatting with him.  We were impressed by his demeanor, dedication to his career, and inspiration to contribute to the betterment of life in Edmonton by running as a city council candidate.  In our brief encounter, he left us with a lasting impression.

Greg was very devoted to his profession and to his family, always spoke his mind, and had his own way of doing things. He was a true fighter and always looked at the positive side of things when presented with an obstacle.  He always got the job done.  Anyone who knew him will understand. Nellie, alex, and tyler, We are so very sorry for your loss.. I have many great memories of Greg, so many great stories. My favorite is when Mat and Greg were working together and they were called to a man that said his friend is  lying in the street very hurt, he was turning blue and he had stuff coming out of his head.. when Mat and Greg got to the scene they discovered that the mans friend was a giant blue stuffed bear with stuffing coming out of his head.. I laughed for days.. Jordyn also has very fond memories of Greg coaching her baseball team, he was so good with the kids, so patient and so fun, she will always remember Greg telling her if she didn't run the bases he was going get her with a spoon. Such a great man with a loving spirit. He will always be remembered. May your rest in Peace Greg, and may nellie, alex and tyler find some comfort in knowing you are no longer in pain and that you will be forever watching down on them..
