Gordon Elroy Lindgren

1925 – 2012

On March 28, 2012 Gordon “Gord” Lindgren passed away peacefully at the Edmonton General Hospital, at the age of 86 years. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Irene of 63 years, 2 sons; Duane and Bruce, 2 special grandsons, Matthew and Michael. He will be sadly missed by his brother Hart, sister Donna (Al), sisters in law Mildred Curtis, Lydia Lindgren and Mildred Bauman, as well as many nieces, nephews and relatives in Canada, Sweden and USA.

Gord was predeceased by sister Joyce, brothers Bryce and John, sister in law Marg, as well as his parents.

Gord was born to Herman and Myrtle Lindgren on November 22, 1925 in Lethbridge.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at Memories Funeral Home 13403 St. Albert Trail, Edmonton, Alberta on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.
