Gary liked to build things, from bird houses to buildings, and he took great care to finish things beautifully. He was an esteemed iron worker and an honorary member of the Iron Workers Local 720.
An avid gardener, he annually cultivated tomatoes, carrots, and raspberries. He welcomed many species of birds (and a couple squirrels) to his garden. He loved to spend time in nature, exploring wildlife in parks and local sanctuaries wherever he went.
A Celebration of Gary's Life will be held on Saturday February 24, 2024 at 1pm at Hainstock’s Funeral Home, located at 9810 – 34 Avenue, Edmonton.
