January 2, 1946 – October 9, 2014
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frederick Fenske on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the age of 68 after a short battle with cancer. Fred will be fondly remembered by his loving wife, Sandra; his son, Chris (Amanda); and three beautiful grandchildren, Elaina, Arianna, and Evan. He also leaves behind his brother, William (Marjorie); sisters Joanne (Donald) and Phyllis, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Fred was predeceased by his parents, August and Johanna, and his baby brother, August.
A public visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 15th, 2014 from 7:00 – 8:30pm at Hainstock's Funeral Home, 9810- 34 avenue, Edmonton. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 16th at 2:00pm at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5104 Ellerslie Road SW, Edmonton. A private interment will happen prior to the service.
