Mr. Evert Hendrik Elzenaar Sr.

May 29, 1941 – February 23, 2010

It is with great sadness that the family of Evert Hendrik Elzenaar Sr; announce his passing on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the age of 68 years.

Evert will be remembered by his loving family, children: Evert (Pam), Christel Elzenaar (Brian Conway) and Ingrid (Allan) Tarasuk, five grandchildren: Evert, Christopher, Alicia, Alyshia, Chance and Paige and two great grandchildren: Erika and Devin, sister Lenie Van-de Ridder (Jaap) as well as his cousin Bart de Kruijf. Evert was predeceased by his beloved wife Corrie Elzenaar- Greeve in 2004, his parents Evert and Cornelia, brother Henk, and sister Corrie.

The family would like to express their gratitude to all the doctors and nurses who cared for Evert, especially the nursing staff at SE Palliative Home for all their care and compassion.

A Funeral service will be held at Memories Funeral Home, 13403-St. Albert Trail, on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 2:00 PM; with Deacon Paul Croteau officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
