It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Elizabeth Patterson Mann Hodgson, at the age of 85.
Liz was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Malcolm in 2006, and her brothers Gilbert and Ron. Liz will be greatly missed by her son Kenneth(Sharon), grandchildren Heather and Kieran Hodgson, her son, Malcolm, grandchildren Sabrina (Steve) Rhodes, Christopher (Carrie) Hodgson, and their mother Colleen and 5 great granchildren, Hannah, Pyper,and Daxton Rhodes, as well as Carter and Casey Hodgson. Liz is also survived by her sister Irene (Robert) Lloyd and many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and entire staff of Unit 41 at the Grey Nuns Hospital. Their tireless care and support for Liz and our entire family was not lost on us, and we will forever remember you all in our hearts. We would also like to thank the nursing staff at Capital Care Norwood - (Dr. Angus McGugan Palliative Care Unit) for all of their care and support during her brief stay there.
