It is with great sorrow and love that the family of Betty Chalmers announces her peaceful passing with family present, on January 25, 2018 at the age of 93 years.
Betty will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her loving family: children Mae (Fred) Hadley, Larry (Shirley), Kenny (Jackie), Susan; 9 grandchildren and spouses; and 15 great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Keith in 1989.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John’s Anglican Church, 11111 – 57 Avenue, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
The family would like to thank the staff at Devonshire Care Centre and her companion Carol, for their devotion in caring for Betty.
