Reading my UofA alumni magazine last night, I was so sorry to read of Eileen's passing.
To Eileen's family... George, their children and her folks, please accept my sympathies and condolences. 
I read every tribute to Eileen, and she deserved the praise.  We shared many happy times and found mutual friends that endure today.  Eileen was special to so many people, and I was blessed to be among them.  God Bless, and farewell for now.

I only just learned of Eileen's passing. It has been several years since I last saw her. We were room mates and friends, and really had a lot of fun planning Young Farmers events together but as life took us along different paths we lost touch. I know that Eileen will be missed by her family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you especially through this first Christmas without her. May God bless you. I am one of 10,000.  10,000 is the statistic on the number of people that come into our lives over the average lifetime.  Most people don't know how many lives we tough or how we impact them.  I am one life that Eileen touched.  George, Spencer, Katherine and Joseph, I hope you find comfort knowing how special your wife and mother was. Thank you Eileen. It is always difficult to loose someone so loved.  Eileen was one of the most positive, happy people I ever had the privedge to know.  Rest in Peace Eileen, you will be deeply missed.

I attended school with Eileen and Irene from the early days of elementary school through high school.  I always remember Eileen as a very gifted person with an endearing personality.  The twins were inseparable.  Unfortunately, I lost touch with them both after high school.  My thoughts and prayers go out to Irene and the entire Chauvet family at this very sad time. I just wanted to express my condolences to Eileens' family.  Unfortunately I lost touch with Eileen when she finished High School at Louis St. Laurent.  I got to know her well when Her, Irene, Sandy & I spent a summer in PEI.  It is a time I have never forgotten.  It was very special.  Eileen probably learned the most that summer (French wise) but, we sang alot, there and on the train coming back from PEI, and had a wonderful time.  I am very glad that we had that time together.  I know that she lived her life to the fullest and am very sorry it has been cut short.  I'm sorry that I didn't get the news in time to attend her funeral.  Wishing you all my deepest sympathies.

Her love of music and people shone through all she did.She valued volunteering and if she couldn't attend an activity she tried to send a family member in her place. I knew Eileen just a little in the years when we would meet late in the evening at the St. Albert Community Hall, picking up our kids after weekly Air Cadet squadron parade nights. She always had such energy and devotion to her kids and we talked a bit about her love of singing. What a great smile and example. She was always looking on the bright side and doing extra for Cadets' fundraising efforts. We were so very sad to hear of her illness. God bless you in your beautiful memories of her, and bring you peace.

You are in our thoughts and our prayers. We had the pleasure of attending both school and church with the Chauvet family and we have many wonderful memories. In elementary school my sister and I played " Irene and Eileen" as we were envious of their beautiful long hair, their sparkling smiles, and their outgoing personalities. Their brothers always claimed they had it tough and the girls were the angels of the family. Well maybe. I met Eileen about ten years ago when we were thrown together on an interdivisional project team. As she did with so many others, we bonded immediately, became friends and kept on sharing our lives through email and lunches after I retired from Agriculture in 2008. I treasure our   moments together. 

As others have said in this guest book, Eileen was a wonder to work with. I well remember when my office or home phone would ring and it would be Eileen calling to discuss our work at some ridiculous hour in whatever time zone she was in for meetings! But even at 5 a.m. or midnight, she always was optimistic, creative and threw in some laughable observation or theory.  

There's no doubt that Eileen was devoted to her clients. And her words demonstrated how passionate she was about everything else that touched her hand or heart, especially her family. May everyone who grieves her loss remember and be inspired by her spirit and spunk and keep smiling for her sake.

My deepest sympathy to the entire Chauvet family as well as Eileen's immediate and extended families. I will always treasure the memories of joy and laughter that she brought to each day. It was an honour to have been one of her high school teachers. May God Bless her family during this difficult time.

I have worked with Eileen for the last few years and couldn't have asked for a more wonderful person to spend my working day with.  We became very good friends and we had so much fun at conferences and on our many road trips together.  I would always miss her when she took a day off because I loved our morning gab sessions.
