Darlene Ruby L'Hirondelle

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Darlene Ruby L’Hirondelle of Edmonton, AB on October 5, 2017 at the age of 67 years. Darlene is lovingly remembered by her family: husband Sam L’Hirondelle of Edmonton, AB, daughter Amber Leslie (Dave Herrick) and their children Xavier Leslie-Herrick and Griffin Leslie-Herrick of Edmonton, AB, daughter Tara Harder (Todd Harder) of Bonnyville, AB and their children Avery Sinclair, Jordan Sinclair, Elliott Sinclair, Samantha Sinclair, Isabella Harder, Alyssa Squirrell and Brandon Squirrell, son Tom (Karma) Stark of Sexsmith, AB) and their child Colt Stark, mother Ruby (Emille) Wurtz of Penticton, BC, sisters Faye (Rick) McArthur, Lynn Stark, and Rose Klingsell, brother Mike Wurtz as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends. Darlene was predeceased by her father Tom Stark, sister Gail Leslie, grandson Tristan Leslie-Herrick, Elden Wurtz and brother Allan Stark.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 2:00PM at Memories Funeral Home with Paul Croteau officiating.

Darlene’s Family wish to thank the ICU staff at the Sturgeon Community Hospital in St. Albert, AB for the care and compassion shown to both Darlene and her family.
