Betty Anne is survived by her husband Greg, her children Kate (Jason), Matt (Kaley), her grandchildren Lucy & Graham and brother Geoff (Theresa). She was predeceased by her parents Daphne & Aubrey.
She was born in Rocky Mountain House and spent summers at Crimson Lake. She attended the University of Alberta earning a degree in Pharmacy. She worked and was an active community member in various groups in Alberta. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed travelling, motorcycle trips, and driving her sidecar. She was involved in the quilting community and was part of multiple quilt guilds. She enjoyed sharing her passion of quilting with others including her daughter, grandchildren, and friends. She and her family often joked about her extensive fabric inventory. She will be missed by many.
Throughout her battle with cancer, we appreciate the care and support of family, friends, Wetaskiwin Home Care and Pilgrims Hospice.
Betty Anne’s celebration of life will be held in the New Year. The family has requested that in lieu of sending flowers, to consider a donation or contribution to Pilgrims Hospice Society.
