Condolences from the Abbott's to the Keeler family on the passing of Anne, cousin to my mother, Shirley Abbott.  Many happy & fond memories of the days spent with all of you on the shores of Island Lake, where both families spent much of their time.  Anne was always there to referee fair play amongst us kids (all those rowdy boys!), & to spoil us with treats, while the adults had their fun - Rod & Bob sometimes had 2 much fun & would tell them "I'm gonna separate you boys" : }, I remember the early days when you started out in the little trailer & built it up to a wonderful place at the lake.  In later years, we enjoyed visits in the summer or on boxing day at the WE house, Anne was always there to welcome us with open arms.  I especially remember her wonderful garden.

1969...we moved in next door and never left! Anne was truly a kind and lovely woman with the biggest heart who always was prepared with baking, chocolate, and fresh veggies from her garden for us. To Butch, Chris, Howie, and Kelly - the whole Evans family sends their love. I think a memorial dinner will be in order to remember her and all those happy times. Love, Gwen and family

Ann loved to play Bingo down at Canterbury Court where she last resided.  We were all shocked to hear of her passing on Saturday - she always had chocolate bars and cookies in her walker basket with a book for reading on the seat.  We will all miss her greatly.

Farewell Mrs. Keeler. As neighbours we were often treated to Anne's kind gifts of baking. She was particularly sweet to our girls and set aside special bags of treats for them at Halloween and Christmas. Our sincere sympathy goes out to the family.

I'm thinking of all those wonderful days at Island Lake, Christmas Eve parties and endless servings of food.  I'm grateful I had "Mrs Keeler", as a second mother throughout my early life.  My thoughts are with Chris, Butch, Howie, Kelly and Craig, we will always cherish her memory.
