Adriana (Jannie) Claessen

On Wednesday, May 30, 2012, Jannie Claessen passed away peacefully at the age of 82 years. She leaves behind her daughter, Terry; two sons, Paul (his wife Jennie and son Keon) and Walter (his wife Marty and their children, Ben and Mandy and beautiful granddaughter Elizabeth). In Holland she leaves behind her brother Jac and sister-in-law Resie, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband John. She will be remembered as a courageous, generous and loving woman.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Jannie’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 in Hainstock’s Funeral Home, 9810 – 34 Avenue, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson Alberta Society.
