Adelaide Cecilia Wood

Adelaide’s memory will be forever cherished by her children, Linda (Brian) Kerr, Gaylene Wood, Darrell (Patti) Wood and Dean (Lynda) Wood; daughter-in-law, Cher Wood as well as her numerous beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Also left to mourn Adelaide are her sister Aldona Harrish and her sister-in-law, Marion Halwa.

Adelaide was predeceased by her husband, Art Wood; her companion, Nick Ewaskow; her son, Dale Wood; six sisters and three brothers.

A special thank you to all the staff of St. Joseph’s Auxiliary Hospital Butterfly Meadows unit for all the care and compassion they provided to mom over the past several years and especially in her final days.

A Memorial Service for Adelaide will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 10:30 am at Hainstock’s Funeral Home, 9810 34 Avenue, Edmonton AB.
