Dale was united in marriage to Kay Milner on February 27, 1958 in Yukon, Oklahoma; celebrating 62 years of marriage this year.
Dale served in the US Navy from 1958-1962. Serving 3 years aboard the USS Galveston.
Dale owned Oklahoma Tree Service for 15 years. Dale worked for several custom cycle shops before working for the OKC Parks and Grounds becoming District Manager. Dale had many hobbies. Dale loved to ride and rebuild motorcycles eventually building a Nitro Fuel Harley Davidson Dragster and then racing it going up to 200 miles per hour. Dale served as the Founding Father of the Central Oklahoma Bonsai Society for 7 years and also joined the Model A’s. He was a big part of the Okie A’s writing the newsletter each month and serving as president for 7 years. He loved traveling all around Oklahoma being a part of many parades and going on road trips to small towns around the State. But more than all this he loved spending time with his family. His 3 boys and grandchildren and many dogs through the years.
Dale was a member of Newchurch loving each and every Sunday for 25 years.
Dale is survived by his wife of 62 years, Kay Haworth; 3 children: Mike Haworth and wife Rachel of Guthrie, OK, Rickey Haworth and wife Claudia of OKC, and Greg Haworth of OKC; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
