Vivian L. Mason

Vivian Leon Mason, age 88, passed away March 9, 2011. She was born July 30, 1922 in Leon, Oklahoma to Charles and Dovie (Thacker) Whittington. Vivian was a member of Village Baptist Church and retired from TG&Y. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cleo Mason; son, Gaylon Mason; four sisters and five brothers. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Evans and husband Bill and Glenda Waul and husband Ron; daughter-in-law, Donna Mason; sister, Ruby Jordan and husband Pete and brother, Charles Whittington and wife Betty. Vivian is also survived by seven grandchildren, Rhonda Miskelly, Sean Mason, Kevin Mason, Kristin Turlove, Kimberly Myers, Greg Waul, and Ashley Elder; 14 great-grandchildren and numerous thoughtful and loving nieces and nephews.

To Vivian, the most important things in her life were her God and family. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren always brought a smile to her face. Her love to them was expressed unconditionally.

Services will be 10 am, Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at the Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services 3 pm Tuesday at Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta, Oklahoma. www.baggerley.com
