Pearl (Newcomer) Patton. He was the youngest of their eight children; Leonard, Pauline, William, Janie,
Russel, Christine, and Jack. He entered into rest on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at home with family
by his side.
He married his love, Delores Sue Fent on Jan. 23, 1957. They had two daughters, Peggy Sue and Elaina
Sue. They were married 38 years before her passing.
Tom married his love, Floye Elston June 20, 1998. Together they enjoyed spending time with their dogs,
traveling to Hawaii and spending time with their families.
Tom was a skilled carpenter, retiring from TG&Y, and Thompson’s Wood Products he continued working
for himself. Tom was talented and could build anything, including his first bicycle. He enjoyed building
bicycles for children. He loved building cradles, doll houses, barbie houses, doll furniture, rocking chairs
and numerous gifts for his great grandchildren. He continued working on his wood carpentry until earlier
this year.
Tom dedicated his life to his family and helping others. Tom said Helping others brings him great Joy.
Tom was the best fisherman, he knew when the fish would bite. He loved the outdoors and lake time.
Tom had a great love for animals, especially his dogs. He adored his nine grandchildren and 18
great-grandchildren. He never missed a birthday or family gathering, always bringing laughter and fun
with him. He made jokes up until his final days. He loved spending time with children and was loved by
all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Floye Patton; sister, Christine Nichols of Blanchard; daughters, Peggy Moffitt
of Guthrie and Elaina (Danny) Semrad of Crescent; grandchildren: April (Damon) Devereaux, Jessica
(Benny) Huskey, Chris Moffitt, Aaron Semrad (fiance Lacey Hoel), Candice (Seth) Balma, Traci Semrad,
Lori Semrad, Julie Semrad, and Savanna Semrad; great-grandchildren: Blakeley, Zachary, Natalie, Lynsie, Isaac, Kyla, Caleb, Ella, Emeryk, Nash, Adelyn, Henry, Jaxon, Jett, Benny, Amiyah, Luke, and Aubrey; many nieces and nephews; 4 step-daughters: Lynne, Kelley, Tammy, and Dixie; 4 step-granddaughters; and 4 great-grandchildren that he loved very much. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Patton; his mother and father; 6 siblings; and son-in-law, Glen Moffitt.
