Taylor Hales Mullaly, Jr. of Edmond, Oklahoma departed this life on April 13, 2025 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Taylor was born on June 6, 1954, in Oklahoma City. As a teenager, Taylor started working in the oil and gas industry as a roughneck in 1972. He worked from the snow-covered fields of Alaska to the deep-blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Through the decades of his life, he gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise about the oil industry finishing his career as an Oil and Gas Drilling and Completion Consultant.
Taylor was known for his great sense of humor and friendliness toward everyone. He loved to play practical jokes on people and make them laugh. He was happiest when he made people smile.
Taylor also loved fishing in the ocean and the salmon-filled streams of Alaska and Canada with his son.
In his early twenties, Taylor completed a Twelve-Step Program and continued from this early age throughout his life to sponsor many people in pursuit of a life free of addiction. He leaves in his path many grateful people whose lives were touched by his guidance, warmth and caring.
Taylor is survived by his wife, Adrian Myers Mullaly; son, Taylor Hales Mullaly, III; sister, Maggie Mullaly Nemirow and brother-in-law, Bruce Nemirow; nephew, Aaron Nemirow and his daughter, Jade; nephew, Jason Nemirow and his fiancee Sarah Kious; sister-in-law, Valerie Myers; nephew, John Stuart Rutledge and his wife, Melika Ghayoomi Rutledge; nephew, James Aaron Rutledge; sister-in-law, Margo Myers Mermelstein and brother-in-law, Gary Mermelstein; nephew, Josh Mermelstein.
The funeral will be held at All Souls Episcopal Church, 6400 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Wednesday, April 23rd at 11:00am.
